Accessibility

This site is built to be usable with a keyboard, with a screen reader, and at increased text sizes. We treat accessibility as part of the build rather than an audit at the end.

What we have done

• Semantic headings, with exactly one H1 on every page and no skipped levels.
• Visible focus outlines on every interactive element.
• Tap targets sized for touch use on mobile.
• FAQ answers rendered with native disclosure elements, so they are present without JavaScript.
• Descriptive link text rather than 'read more' or 'click here'.
• Form fields with associated labels and error messages announced to assistive technology.
• Colour used to reinforce meaning, never as the only way information is conveyed.

If any part of this site is difficult to use, please tell us through the contact page and describe what you were trying to do. We will fix it and, where a fix takes time, offer another way to get the same information.
